Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. As an RN with Health Med Village, you will provide high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and clinics across Canada. You will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assess and monitor patient health, taking detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations.
– Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on assessment data and patient needs.
– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
– Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
– Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
– Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive health measures.
– Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
– Follow established protocols, procedures, and standards of care.
– Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
– Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in nursing.
Qualifications:
– Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Canada.
– Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
– Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience.
– Current CPR and First Aid certification.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
